Greetings fighters! A full year has passed since our last update (like Chun Li we say Gomenne!), but here we are again and our power gauge is full!
CFC team has been working hard to add autoscripts to the game cards. What does it mean? If a card has a rule defined in its text box, then you only need to activate it (by double-click on the card or selecting “Use ability / Resolve” in the card contextual menu) and the game will take care of the rest —it will automatically resolve the effects, ask for targets (if it’s suitable) and apply any required action. No more manual working!
So far only a few cards have autoscripts enabled: Nina, Ryu no Senshi, Cap. Commando, Mack Knife, Shinjin Akuma, Blodia, Jin Saotome, Zero Akuma, Regina, Cody (Alpha), Damn D, Guy and Jill.
Just to keep you fighters informed, version 0.6.0 has been released. It includes several bug fixes and the new and shiny Phase Toolbar (at the top-right corner of the game board). Now you can click on a button of the toolbar to go directly to that phase.
Also the SP cost of some cards have been reviewed… again. Please take in mind that the game is still on beta stage and we are working hard to balance it.
New version 0.5.0 comes bundled with 39 decks from SNK Playmore’s video game SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters’ Clash 2 Expand Edition. Enemy decks are the decks used by the game characters in Story Mode (easy) and Free Battle Mode (hard). Secret decks are decks found in the ROM but that are not used anywhere in the video game (sort of easter eggs).
Second big change for this update: Character cards no longer have negative SP value. After getting valuable feedback from some players, we realized that negative SP cost for character cards can slowdown the game and can even block players if they only draw those cards. So almost all character cards have been reviewed and their SP upgraded.
