Welcome to Keyforge!

This will be the homepage for the Keyforge OCTGN game package.

To play Keyforge, look for the Keyforge game in OCTGN’s Community Feeds directory.

The link to the image pack can be found HERE! NOTE that the game is not yet currently released, and many cards are still missing as they have not yet been spoiled. The image pack will be regularly updated as new/better quality images are released.

Keyforge is a Unique Deck Game, meaning that every physical deck you purchase will be a specially randomized collection of 36 cards. The deck is guaranteed to be unique — no other player in the world will have the exact same deck. To go even further, each deck will have its own unique card back, featuring a randomly-generated avatar picture and character name.

The OCTGN Keyforge game package tries to remain faithful to the spirit of the Unique Deck Game format. As such, when you play a game of Keyforge on OCTGN, you will be able to generate your own unique deck for that game session. (Disclaimer: The randomization method we use to generate the decks is much less complex than the real algorithm used by the game publishers — we are merely approximating the contents of a deck). Unfortunately due to OCTGN’s limitations, we do not provide the unique card backs and avatar identities that are prominently featured in the real version of the game.

This is a fan-made community project. We are in no way affiliated with the Keyforge publishers or any of its properties.

Update 1.0.5.3 – Sealed Format

All the sets have been fixed for sealed format, the_stellar was a huge help! Now you can add any set(even promos) to limited games, and they properly take rarity into account when generating booster packs.

To play the format, start a game. Instead of loading a deck, select “Start Limited Game”, add as many boosters of the sets you want and you’re good to go!

Update 1.0.5.0 – Episode 2

This is nitrox.
It’s late, but Episode 2, the second block of DMR, is finally here!
This set block introduces a new civilization, Zero, whose cards are considered colourless.

I’ve made a lot of progress in auto-extraction of card data and images from the DM wikia, and this expansion was possible only because of the support of the community. A big thanks to all the old peeps that worked on the plugin, plus Naveed and Heatedline especially, for helping me complete the program for image extraction.

A long-awaited update, and some new Image Packs!

Apologies for the lack of updates on this module, but here I am trying to play catch-up. I’ve had some help from outstanding members of the community in keeping the game definition updated with new releases fairly regularly — so the Path to Carcosa Deluxe Expansion and the 1st Mythos Pack in it’s cycle (Echoes of the Past) have already been included in the game for you to play! I’ve now caught up with Image Packs, which you can download here. Thank you for your patience!

My Little Pony CCG Update 2.2.9.0: Seaquestria and Beyond

Patch Notes 2.2.9.0

Changes

  • Added Seaquestria and Beyond – Shoo Be Doo! Call Upon the Sea Ponies!
  • Added color counters to cards – Colors will now be in a form of counters instead of highlights
  • Added in Cutie Mark Highlights – This allows you to highlight Cutie Mark cards when they are cutie marked
  • Added a Duplicate function – For cards like Changeling Barricade, copies will have a green hue to signify it is a token copy
  • Added a Permanently Exhaust function – Use it only when the card is not exhausted, Permanently Exhausted cards will have a red hue and will not ready until you either double click it or select “Permanently Exhaust” under the card menu
  • Made the color req system calculate power counters – Any card that gains a power counter will be noticed by the system
  • Made the color req system to calculate color markers – Any card that gains a color will be noticed by the system
  • Made a popup for over hand limit, it will also take account of the flitter card that can increase hand limit by 2
  • Dilemmas now come into play exhausted and will stay exhausted
  • The AT/colour req system is not global anymore so if one player turns the system off, the other will still have the system running

If you are wondering how to access the new features, just right click the card you want to add color counters, cutie mark highlights, duplicate or permanently exhaust. Feel free to give any feedback/suggestions and report any bugs, thanks and enjoy the new set!

State of the Force of Will Plugin

Hi, I apologize for the lack of conversation up until now.  I just want to be upfront — the Force of Will TCG community in my local area died off early this year and I have not been able to follow along with the game’s progress lately.  Due to commitments to other game plugins in addition to a busy work schedule IRL, I no longer have the time to keep the Force of Will OCTGN plugin updated.

A while ago I wrote a program that would automatically parse and compile Force of Will sets from the online card databases, with the intention of making it quick and easy to keep the plugin updated with new set releases, but those sites have undergone significant coding changes which broke the program.  I have not had the time to fix the code, and due to the strong desire to not manually type out set files, I have not been able to keep the available sets updated.

So until further notice, there will not be any updates made to the Force of Will OCTGN plugin done by me.

If there are active Force of Will players out there with basic programming (XML, python and C#) experience, have the necessary time commitment, and would like to keep the project going in my absence, please feel free to contact me either at octgngamedirectory@gmail.com, or via the official OCTGN discord server (https://discordapp.com/invite/Yn3Jrpj).  The code for the game plugin is publicly available at https://github.com/brine/FoWTCGOCTGN.

MTG 3.4.0 Update

The Magic plugin for OCTGN has been updated to version 3.4.0 and with it some exciting new features!

1) Color symbols in the deck editor

These symbols now replace the traditional {C} symbols in the text. They still respond to the {C} notation for searches and filters, though.

2) Image Downloader Plugin

This is an easy-to-use plugin found in the Deck Editor (click the “Plugins” menu to find it). Use it to download and install images on a set-by-set basis. No more image packs!
NOTE: All tokens are stored in the “Tokens” set. There’s currently no way to download tokens from individual sets.

3) Ixalan & Iconic Masters release!

AGOT LCG 2ed Re-Launch!

I have uploaded the new version of the AGOT 2ed plugin to the OCTGNGames feed.  Please note that any images that you might have had installed prior to this update will need to be reinstalled.  Check the new Image Fetcher plugin (found in the deck editor) for an easier method of locating and installing image packs.

I have set up a changelog notification system which will pop up in-game whenever a new version is updated.  Please check out that message for more information on this new version.

Rebooting a Reboot

Hello A Game of Thrones Players! I am excited to announce a new version of the AGOT OCTGN game plugin, aiming for a release date of Friday August 25th, 2017. Those who already have the plugin installed do not need to do anything extra — the game will automatically update to the new version once available.

The new version is a complete overhaul of the scripting and gameplay for A Game of Thones, and features a stronger emphasis over manual player control. This leads to more natural feeling gameplay, with basic scripting available to assist with common interactions.

The deck editor has also been overhauled, with cleaner rules text and symbol icons! The most exciting feature is the new Image Extractor deck editor plugin, which will automatically download and install card images! No more image packs required!
